I posted this on the jimmy white thread but i am yet to get a response.

there are currently 73 players retaining their place on the main tour for next season, it is my understanding that;

the top 64 in the two year ranking retain their place

and

the top 8 for last season ranking points retain their place, however the 6400 points given to new qualifiers does not count towards this, only the points won do.

Am i right?

if so does this mean that the wildcard place has already been given out as there are 73 players.

Yes, as Robin Hull withdrew from the tour, Drew Henry got his place. Why Joe Jogia didn't get it it still a mystery, but I suspect he declined it.

robin hull isnt on the list so if drew henry is a replacement there is still an extra player.

also can anyone confirm if what i said about the one year ranking points not including the 6400 given to new starters?
