Dunns !!!! I thought you wanted a cue not a tomatoe plant stick?
Well okay I've only ever seen pictures of them. but ask youself though, If the website is "english" and they claim to be made in Thialand how come the seller of them is in hong kong where they are shipped from?
A Chinaman can be just as good as any other chippy maybe even better but the whole chinese cue industry is only interested in mass producing cheap cues and flogging them abroad. I'd bet Dunns is some ex pat in hong kong and his mate still here in the uk.
Take a look at Geordiepool for whats probably the best of the chinese made cues sold in the uk. then come back and comment.

Yes I can and did. Dunns cues are cheap, cheaper than any Thai cue bought new direct from a Thai factory so they most likely are made in china where they are sold from. The chinese as I said can make as good a cue as anyone but they dont simply because there is no profit in doing so. They cant sell a quality cue in their own country let alone export one. Most of the serious players out there play with Thai cues and the wealthier ones with British made ones.
Have you played with all the above makes?

Nowt wong with the others you suggested he look to but you cant put dunns in the same league hell they dont even have an addess or a phone number, the info on the site is 50% bull**** and if you think this is quality think again..

You sound that you really dislike dunns cues? what benefits are there for you to ruin their reputations?
Has Mike Wooldridge got a telephone number contact on his website?
Has Trevor White's cues got a website?
Do you know how bad John Parris cues are at the beginning of their business? Uneven splices; cracks in ebony, loose joints etc???
I think you are actually talking 100% bullxxit. x
You live in a sad little life i am afraid.good nightLast edited by Cue; 1 August 2008, 04:56 PM.

Nickylunes, theres a Craftsman Dominator 3/4 cue with extensions & case on ebay now i'd seriously consider bidding up to say a ton for though i suspect it'll go fo 70-80 tops.. check it out..

Case looks naff but if the spec is to your liking and it's straight thats a nice quality thai cue finished in the uk and as good as any thia cue you'll find and better than many english ones.
