  • 147 in Premier League?

I wanted to know if somebody made 147 in Premier League?
I only know that PAUL HUNTER made 146 (in Premier League 2004).
Is this a highest break (146) in Premier League?

Hendry made a 147 in the league in 1998, but I'm pretty sure nobody's made one under the shot clock.

I think John Parrott and Hendry made one each in the 1992 League - not 100% sure though. I think Steve Davis currently holds the record under the shot-clock with 143 or 144 or something.

Hendry has made a 147 and a 146 in the same tournament The 1995 UK Championship.....the only player to make 2 or more 146 in compatition i think..

the 147 was against Garry Wilkinson in the last 16 and the 146 was against Peter Ebdon in the closing frame of the final when he won 10-3.

i dont see why not a 147 isnt possible under shot clock rules Hendry was on course last year Against Steve Davis...

Does anyone have that 146 break Hendry made in that 1995 UK Championship final they could up load to youtube? That match was one of the classic Hendry matches where he just destroyed his opponent. I would Really love to see some more Stephen Hendry from the period 1993 - 1996 being uploaded to youtube.

In particular I really would like to see footage of 1995 UK Championship Hendry, 1993 World Championship Final Hendry and some bits of the Masters 1993 and 1996. Appantely Hendry made a 144 break at the 1996 Masters, would like to see that too.

If I e-mail in at the next UK Championship to the BBC in some interval do you think there may be a chance of the BBC running that 1995 Final 146 break if I say im a Hendry fan? , Same at the Masters, if I e-mail in and ask to see the 144 break made in 1996. I really wanna see Hendry full table clearences from 1993 - 1997 made from Hendry because in that period he never missed any pot hardly. And his natural playing style was so confident and relaxed and cue action in those years was just awesome. In that 5 year period he might of missed like 2 black off the spot per season.

I saw the 146 on television back then, I wasn´t aware that it was such a rare break at the time.

I fully agree that a 147 is possible with the shotclock. Many of them comes when the balls are nicely placed on the table.

One of my favourite Hendry breaks is the first of the final where he beat White 18-5 because it just really set the tone for the entire match.

There is a fantastic one from the 2003 Welsh Open final on Youtube, if you can't check out his profile page on my blog as I embedded it there. Just love how it shows everything about Hendry at his best from the long pot to having the cueball on a string around the black spot.

As for the PL then it is certainly possible, particularly if they have a few time outs they can use in the latter stages of the break.

No worries, he's my favourite player so I was always going to go a bit overboard with that If there is anything else I could put in then let me know.

Plan is to do one a day until I get to the lower ranked players. Not looking forward to Steve Davis though, might need a week for that!

Davis made a 145 during his great run at the UK in 2005, that might be what you're thinking of? That still stands as the second best of his career after his one maximum.
