2008 grand prix...prize money?

Can anyone tell me what was the prize money that higgins recieved last night? and also what Day got for runner up?

Havent you mentioned that the prize money this season is much higher than the previous ones. In Shanghai Masters the champion received 52000 pounds this year instead of 30000 last year. In the GP 75000 instead of 30000 from last year. Only NI Trophy stayed the same.

Actually, the Shanghai Masters paid 48k to the winner last season. The Grand Prix prize is the same as last season, although players played fewer matches this time, so i guess it can be regarded as a better reward as well (same prize money, less work).
