  • Pontins PRO-AM series

I can´t find out if these tournaments has any other function than getting some matchpractise for the involved players. There is a ranking, but does it influence anything ?

No, It's just a series of pro-ams. I think the top 64 on the rankings qualify for the Grand Finals or something like that.

        Gaz,

They normally start in the summer and there is a 1 off payment of £250 entry fee.
Thats if you wanna go in 1 or all 6, its the same cost. (Plus, you've got the grand final)
Ring up Pontins so they can send you an entry form.

Sorry, don't know about the PIOS.
But if you ring up Pontins I'm sure they can help.

It is primarily great match practice for professionals, amateurs and juniors alike.

The rankings are used to determine the 64 players who come back to compete on the Grand Finals weekend, to take the ultimate prizes.

Not long now until Event 6 and then we'll know the line up for the Finals Weekend.

There will be another series in 2009 and if anyone wants information or to receive an entry pack in due course just drop me an email at pontins @ globalcuesportscentre.com (remove the spaces)
