In your local snooker hall..

What funny signs are displayed in and around the club that are suppose to make you aware of snooker etiquette. For example in my local club tghe gaffer has displayed signs saying "Concentration NOT conversation" In relation to no telephone calls whilst playing. As well as this there are several signs simply saying "SSSSHHHH" dotted randomly around!!

These always seem to get a laugh from visitors/new members so i was wondering if anyone else has any similar funny stories about these.

Hi there, how about this one, it was not in a snooker club though.

NO TOSSING OVER THE TABLES !

it's obvious, this is refering to coin tossing, but it's really funny all the same!

especially when it is the games room of a "gentlemans club" lol.

The first member club i played in had 2 tables, one of the signs read SLOW PLAY NOT ALLOWED WHEN BUSY. LOL

There was once a notice above some tables in one of my local club which had two different instructions, but they were shown one below the other with no puntuation and it seemed a bit odd at first:

No gambling allow on the table side bets only.
No under 16s after 8pm unless they are playing on the money table.
Players must be over 5 foot to play on the table or be over 12..
