    They definitely sell tickets to non residents, as I have used it recently with no problems. They just not send you printed tickets, you get the code and must print your ticket in the machines at the station you depart from.

        its now 1 pound to 1.16 euro, where it was 1.50 euro a year ago. So actually, snooker ticket prices and the rest (not drinks in the last place) have become roughly 22% cheaper for us continentals.


        I thought, i never would say this, but hip, hip hurray!! for the Euro!

          A bit off topic: I haven't been to England for ages, what are the food and drink prices like? What would you expect to pay for not-fancy food, like in a pub or so? I guess nothing can shock me, it can't be much more expensive than Geneva (I hope ), but just to be prepared...

            Its not expensive at all.

            Pub food, 6/7 pounds for a main course, and they have special offers as well. Pint of lager, ale, around 1.80/2.50 max in Sheffield. Bottle of wine 7.99
