i remember mccullough being that way though, i always disliked him for wearing burberry too however i met him in a pub a couple of years back, what a superb bloke. my first impression was very wrong but it seems im not the only one!
Thank God for that, steedee! I was beginning to feel like a right barsteward, although I have said already that I did warm to him in subsequent tournaments and that my initial description was based on first impressions.

Funny, immediately reading the first post I thought Robert Milkins.

            Milkins

Hes a character, do you remeber when Graeme Dott beat him? and he said "i shouldnt be losing to players like that" Dott went on to win the world championship. Mind you, i still cant believe Dott won it! what a boring final too

For some daft and irrational reason I took an instant dislike to Milkins and didnt watch any match he was in. I now regret this as i have since discovered hes one of the fastest players around (in the same league as Drago) and ive never even seen him play, as he no longer gets on tv !

At least he said that before Dott won the WC. Robertson said something similar when lost against Dott 13-12 in the year Dott won it (he thought he was the better player and should have won).

Now, Chris Melling on the other hand.. He said if Dott was able to win the WC, than he can do it as well. What a shame he dropped off the Tour after a year or two..

McCulloch also doesn't rate Dott too highly. Why do they all think Dott is sh*t?

I don't know really.. Most likely they just can't get over the fact that Graeme Dott is a world champion, and they are not.

Dont you guys think Dott has a certain amount of arrogance about him on the table of course?

Maybe he has, but even if he has, I dont think theres very much wrong with that. Lets face it these guys are pretty damn amazing, and they have to have massive self belief after all. No doubt this must occasionally tip over into arrogance even for the most level headed of them.
