Oil or Wax your shaft ?

Rub the cue down with a damp cloth, then follow it with a dry cloth.

Oil is used to retain wood's moisture and protect the wood from drying out whereas wax is used for smooth finish on the shaft.But if you properly oil the cue there is no need for wax.You need to oil your cue every 3-6 months depending on the weather conditions.

Colron Finishing Wax. I swear by it. £5.99 homebase, so its easy to get hold of. Dont use on a varnished or laquered cue as its pointless.

no nor me - i always like to have my shaft oiled.

RAW linseed oil makes the shaft very nice. use beeswax only for the butt
