    Murphy...solid!

I played Shaun Murphy when i was 15, and he was 13, in the final round of the midlands qualifying tournament for the national under 15's. Even then the talk was of him being the youngest champ since Hendry. He beat me 3-1 in the final, and his solid cue action has never changed. I always tell people of my hard luck story "if i had won...who know what could of happened". The fact is though, talent gets you so far...but daddys money gets you further. I remember him and his friend sitting there talking about what table they had. i had a 6ft riley table, murphy had a full size riley strachan....Nice!
Deep it down the rail :D :D :D

I had 6 x 3 table at home when I was 5 or 6, but my highest break on that was only 24 for years, til I started playing with my grandad at a bristish legion and then at my local club when I was 14. I made my first ton when I was 17, and have gone on since then.
