I don't think is has happened in a professional tournament. Can't imagine that. But I'm not sure that you tell the truth, though. It sounds to good to be true.#Age: 22 HB#: 82 #Cue: Mike Wooldridge Vintage Cue # Tip: Mike Wooldridge BlackSpin #Best performance in tournament: Semi-final in an "open to all" Swedish tournament 2015, Swedish U16 tournament champion October 2007 #Current rank in Sweden: 15

Here is a quote from Winning Snooker with Eddie Charlton explaining his 272 running break after he potted a red off the break in 2 frames and cleared the table both times.
Originally Posted by Winning Snooker with Eddie CharltonMy outstanding achievement, I think, in the game was to make a 272 break at snooker. The 272 at snooker came, when I was on tour playing for the Royal N.S.W Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, at the Kempsey-Crescent Head Country Club, N.S.W. I had to play two opponents a game of snooker each. I broke the balls in the first frame, made a red into the centre pocket, and cleared the table for a break of 137. My new opponent came to the table, the referee re-racked the balls and I potted a red into the same pocket and clear the table again a second time for a break of 135, making a world record running break of 272. Neither opponent had a shot.

i found this on the snooker.org site in the records section
"In April 2002 the New Zealand No2, amateur Harry Haenga, father of national champion Daniel Haenga, scored a 147 off the break against Glenn Gemmel at the Porirua Club, near Wellington, New Zealand. This was not in a tournament but was witnesses by two A Grade players, one of whom is a NZ representative and the other is a Referee."New Zealands biggest snooker fan
