    jwarren:

Say hello to Ken for me. Last time I saw him was when he beat me 4-3 in the quarter-finals of the Maritime Open last March at Burnside.

I don't know if we've ever met, but I used to live in Hfx/Dart for 18 years when I was in the Navy and also played from time to time in various clubs around town.

Also, when you go to Burnside and if Ray is there, tell him to see if he can change the dates for the Maritime Open this year as it conflicts with one of our ranking tournaments here in Ontario but I would love to come down to Dartmouth again and compete (he hasn't answered either of my 2 emails to him)

You join some good Canadian members here.
One way that Barry Hearn will KNOW of our dedication to snooker and our goal to renew it's vitality in Canada is through TSF...
so I look forward to your posts which can help contribute towards that as well as entertain and inform us.

            Cheers!

                  Good day,

I joined this forum today. Living in the Niagara area of Ontario, I have played snooker on and off since 1961 and have recently joined a group that plays at the local legion every Tuesday afternoon. Getting the rust off my cue has been a chalenge but the old form is gradually coming back.

                  Regards,
                  Bill

I live in Niagara-on-the-Lake and have been playing snooker since 1961. Had a long break of no play and then stated again with a bunch of local guys at the Legion every Tuesday afternoon. Also play with a senior on Mondays in his basement on a small table. Casual and no great shooters in our bunch, but we have a lot of fun.
