As it is a new tip I used 180 grit to shape the corners away and get a dome. I then used the back of 2000 grit then back if an old black belt. I then used the front of the 2000 grit to get rid of loose fibres on the top of the tip. Great advice on this thread, thanks. I'm pretty pleased with my first effort, just need my club open now. Oh, and autosol on the ferrule.
