That looks ok to me, a nice dome shape to it . I think tips are a personal choice and I like mine a bit shorter which is more for ascetics than anything.

It’s definitely better to have it too long than too short though

I think we all need to do that !.

The closer we get to opening up again the more impatient I’m getting

We were told start of September but that was a few weeks ago and things seem to be moving along a bit quicker now.

Newcastle under Lyme (next door to Stoke on Trent). I want to start proper practicing but I've found out burslem doesn't do practice rates - I'm not paying 6 an hour by myself. I've messaged Longton, they look like a good set up, Jamie Cope's club.

Yeah things do seem to be changing by the day, still bloody confusing though. I've not heard of any other countries having a 'second wave' so I hope we'll be the same.

                      Blimey, I'll take 'very good'

Thing is, is it a 'bad tip', what's a bad tip? :snooker:

I would say the fluffy tip in the first picture is edging towards a "bad tip"

I think it’s the distortion on the closer pic that makes it look fluffy .

You will soon find out when you hit a ball first time

If you can’t practice during the day it’s quite tough finding somewhere that does practice rates in the evening . As you say it’s just too expensive for your average Joe to pay full whack by themselves .
Im looking to get back playing again once we reopen and have used this lockdown to source clubs that will cheaper options to practice . As I work shifts and will play at different times I’ve got a list of about four places which range from social clubs to snooker clubs .

Good luck finding place and hopefully Longton works out.
