Let's please see the arrangements for the 400, 405 and 408!

(We only have 408 grapes to give away.)

Indeed - which I don't think will be beaten. I can't think how Monique had 405 though... will be interested to see, Monique!

          • That's what I had in mind: the 20 in a line + 1 touching two balls. Apparantly I can't add! So Snookersfun deservedly gets tthe grapes

And I can't type ... had to edit!

            • In that case, here is a chance to get some other fruit...

              Round 238 - Strawberry Fever

Just like in rounds 231, 232, 234 and 236, lay out the snooker balls and remember that you get bananas for your lowest scoring ball and pineapples for your highest scoring ball.

Once you have arranged the balls, you will be eligible for a number of strawberries equal to your number of bananas times your number of pineapples. E.g. 3 bananas and 5 pineapples will give 15 strawberries.

If your number of pineapples is divisible by your number of bananas (e.g. if you have 40 pineapples and 10 bananas, because 40 is divisible by 10) then you are also eligible for a grapefruit.

              a) How many strawberries do you wish to claim? (with or without a grapefruit)

              b) How many strawberries will you claim if you want a grapefruit?

Bids on the thread please - as always, as high as you can...

              • Just hoping to have understood that right:

                a) How many strawberries do you wish to claim? (with or without a grapefruit)
                195

                b) How many strawberries will you claim if you want a grapefruit?

                125

                • I'm afraid I don't understand...

                  a) How many strawberries do you wish to claim? (with or without a grapefruit) - 242

                  b) How many strawberries will you claim if you want a grapefruit - 147

Maybe will cange my mind later...

I think you have understood that right. Two good (but still beatable) opening bids.

hmm, when you eat that quantity of grapes, I'd say some stomach problems guaranteed but a nice poem, thanks.

The guarantee is free. You don't have to eat them all... can maybe play snooker with some of them
