2) that didn't stop Monique from getting her answers in quickly as ever. R.285 and 287 solved brilliantly, slight struggle with the 'dart's part' of R. 286
Abextra solved R. 285 and 287
Monique got her darts together and completed R. 286
and d_g threw some R. 285 at me
so, whoever wants can put up his/her solution now...

and:
R 289: loops and battleships
loop1.bmp
Place the regular fleet into the above grid (no touching, even diagonally). Then draw a closed loop through centers of all empty cells (loop cannot intercept itself and go only vertically or horizontally). Numbers on the left and top of grid show (in increasing order) the lengths of all loop segments in corresponding direction. Number on right shows amount of cells occupied by ship segments.

well, yes, I tried it
ok, maybe, the clues on sides are given in increasing order, which does not mean that they need to be in that order in puzzle.

Meaning the answer to R.289 can now come up on the thread, while Monique is busy with other things and can put up R.288 whenever she'll find the time.

and on that happy note, and just having solved a tricky one, I'll pass that on as
R. 290: Ronnie's spoons
In the following box Ronnie has arranged his spoons for the coming tournaments. Each spoon can have 0-4 dots always starting from round part and continiuously from there. Numbers outside the grid show the quantity of cells with dots in corresponding row or column. Find the 'dotting' of all spoons. Spoons in one outlined 4x4 square should have different amount of dots (from 0 to 4).
