Hehe. ... but it is the number of balls that should balance, not the value of balls - otherwise the table will topple.

For example, if you have 5 balls in the two top pockets combined, you must have 5 balls in the two bottom pockets combined...

It will be 42 if you put all the balls in one long Line!

But if you arrange them in other ways, you can have balls being part of more than one Line, and so score more!

I was probably hallucinating - but I thought I read that no answer above 110,000 was possible.

              You're right. You were hallucinating.

Your bid was good too.... just not the highest possible.

                      Let's see the 121 please.

And if anyone else wants to bid, please do!

Any bids for round 302? At the moment, a bid of 3 could win it!

So... that's good for 121... and is the leading (and only) bid!

PS I haven't even thought about this question yet and what a good bid might be yet - but I shall do.... I feel sure that much higher is possible!

... edit - or perhaps not? We'll see

right, perhaps not theoretically 126 would be the highest achievable, wouldn't it? but I don't think one can avoid having the 5 '2pointers'.

OK, R. 302 is crazy, a one time through now (and I am sure higher is possible): 231
