Among the answers here on the thread, there are correct answers to all three parts.
Hopefully someone will put all three in a single post!
I see also that some answers have come via PM, which I shall check now..."If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.

Remember, Deano82, that Quinten is a very strong gorilla - this means that he has tremendous cue power."If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."

Round 305 - Payback time?
In the return match, this time a best-of-7 (first to win 4 frames is the winner), Quinten again potted most of the balls.
In fact, the smallest number of balls that Quinten potted in any frame was still more than the total number of balls that Gordon potted during the whole match!
There were no fouls, no re-racks and no ungentlemanly conduct.
What is the best match score outcome that Gordon could have achieved? (and explain why)Last edited by davis_greatest; 3 February 2008, 09:49 PM. Reason: added requirement to "explain why""If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
