Congrats chasmmi, the first point from Round 116!
Sidney Smith of Doncaster, who reached two World finals, 1938 and 1939. He also compiled the first official total clearance, 133, at Thurstons Hall, London, in the 1936 Daily Mail Gold Cup against Tom Newman.

Wow! Good shot chasmmi! Con Stanbury is correct also.
The hard hitting Canadian who first entered the Championship in 1935. Tragically, Stanbury eventually had to have both legs amputated. He spent the last thirty years of his life in London, mostly as a coach, until his death in 1975.
