At one point I'd written out a full answer for Alex Higgins vs Jimmyu White in the World Championship semi final, before realising that unless a young Stephen Hendry came out of the crowd to break in the deciding frame of all matches that year, it was impossible..

There's an idea though. No more alternate breaking, get some famous people in to break the balls up from the start of each frame....

    World Final: Hendry vs O'Sullivan

Michaela Tabb: "First frame, Madonna to break"

    Another pint Cyril?

You mean "I really shouldn't" not "I really should" hic.

Still on the bottle at one o'clock in the afternoon, are we?

Still no fully correct answer. The correct referee's name has been mentioned, but that is all.

Could it have possibly been the '98 Masters final Hendry losing 9-10 to Williams, referee being Jan Verhaas???

I'll go for the '89 Irish Masters final, John Street I think.

Indeed, neither the correct referee nor the correct match yet.

And that is still the case.

Not to either part of the question?

I'll go for Stephen hendry vs Peter Ebdon in the 2002 Final and I'll say Alan Chamberlain?

Have we seen this question before?

I think you could be right rambon.

I take a stab at the 1990 UK when Hendry had just made a remarkable clearance to go 15-15 against Davis.

Who the hell referee'd that game???

Jack Karnehm: "Tough shot"... "Tough shot, my word a wonderful shot!"

Oh hell, I'll say Len Ganley!
