Peter Ebdon is NOT the correct answer. Hegeland, you are not eligible to take any further part in this question.

Next clue: He has been World Champion on more than one occasion.

    ROUND ONE HUNDRED AND TWO

Be careful on this one. It's an "I'm thinking of a player" round. Every so often I will add a clue.

HOWEVER, DO NOT GUESS UNLESS YOU THINK I HAVE NARROWED IT DOWN TO ONLY ONE PLAYER (or you fancy chancing it). Because ONCE YOU HAVE GUESSED, YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANOTHER GUESS ON THE ROUND, EVEN AFTER I HAVE POSTED THE NEXT CLUE!

So if I say, "He is English and a former World Champion" and you guess Peter Ebdon and it's wrong, that's you out of the game!

    Here it is:

I'm thinking of a player. He is English and has never been world no.1.

    ROUND ONE HUNDRED AND THREE

Which player has hands so big that he can pick up TEN snooker balls from the table, using only that hand to both pick up and grip the balls, with no other support (single-handedly, one might say)?

ROUND NINETY-NINE (posted by The Statman)

When was the last time, at the Crucible, that two players played each other, who had the same first name?

They must be 'known as' the same , so James Wattana v. Jimmy White, or Steve Davis v. Stephen Hendry, would not count.

Sorry, I only read Anyone? not knowing you already started a new question.

16 is the correct answer. Its possible when one player fouled and a free ball is nominated. The other player pots the nominated ball as a red and pots the other 15 in the same shot (just in theory)
