    Not sure what Q we're up to but,

    Who were the 8 professionals who took part in the first ever BBC2 Pot Black series in 1969?

    Very good question actually and took a bit of working out.

    State Express sponsored the event from 1981-83 or thereabouts. Charlton was obviously a cert; was pretty sure about Morgan as although he was Irish he emigrated to Australia in the early 1970's and played for them in a few World Cup's; Ian Anderson was something of a guess. I knew it was too early to be John Campbell or Warren King and Warren Simpson passed away in 1980. Anderson was the only other active Aussie pro I could think of!

    Steve Duggan and Patrick Wallace are correct. Wallace got the quarter finals the only year he qualified! Circle you are close to the other player.

    Martin Gould lost his 1st match at the Crucible to Mark Allen.

    EDIT - Looking as well at the debuts this year the pattern continues with Zhang and Tom Ford both losing, so that 58/61.
