ROUNDS SEVENTY-NINE to EIGHTY-TWO
Here are some Times crossword clues that included the wod 'snooker' in them. See if you can decrypt them:
4 May 1931, 1 down: Suitable dish for a snooker player. 6 letters, 'T' in 3rd.
27 July 1936, 15 across: Craftsmen at snooker. 7 letters, no letters yet.
13 May 1938, 1 down: Good fortune at snooker. 7 letters, no letters yet.
25 March 1939, 4 across: The snooker player's habitual stroke. 8 letters, 'C' in 4th.
For EACH of the above, a point for the first person to correctly answer it. State which one you are answering.
If one remains unanswered after a reasonable time, I will give a couple more letters.

1) The black leaves the table during a shot.
2) Players clothing/hand/cue etc touches the black ball
3) Black plus another ball is sunk (I assume I do not need to do seperate points for whether it is black and red, or and yellow etc. Basically multiple balls sunk)
4) Player hits black instead of white.
5) Any foul when the black is the only ball left on the table. (I am assuming this situation transcends regardless of ball on rules.)
6) Black (possibly even any ball) is still in pocket when a shot is played.)
7) plays a colour without nominating when required.
8) Any unsporting action regarded serious foul play?
9) Uses objects to measure gaps or angles.
10) plays with both feet off the floor.
11) Attacking the referee with black ball (please omit this as a serious answer)
Am I even on the right lines?

I said, "regardless of whether the black is the ball on, or ball concerned."
By which I implied that "hitting the black when going for another ball" would NOT count. The foul is for hitting the wrong ball; whether it is 7 or not IS dependent on whether the black is the ball on, or ball concerned.
Please weed out the ones that do not fit with the above.
