  • You are missing a seventh which would almost always be added in the situation you describe...

The point will go to the person who identifies the final statement of the referee.

      • Toilet break?
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

        • Congratulations Alex0paul. The referee would also state "please nominate" if he was calling a touching ball, since with a free ball any ball could be legally hit. I said 'almost always' thinking only if it was touching a colour, but of course it would be 'always' – even if touching a red.

So here is the scoreboard after Round 34:

                      • ROUND THIRTY-SIX

Mark King, of course, made his Crucible début four years earlier, in 1994.

What two items were depicted on his waistcoat in 1994? They are two characters that you can probably see if you glance down at your keyboard....
