I've shared the point, rambon. What is crucial here is that Davis had just made two misses, and needed snookers after the 2nd miss but not after the first. (If he had needed snookers after the first "miss", no miss would have been called.)

I don't have a problem with that, it's effectively what I mant to write but got sidetracked by work half way through and that meant I just wrote something simple.
