Freds last opponent was Bill Werbinuik in 1984. Last player he beat was Kirk Stevens in 1979.

Last 32 (1st Round) 1982 Eddie Charlton made a break of 34 I don't know which frame it was and beat Cliff Wilson by 10 Frames to 5 and Cliff Wilson's highest break in that match was 54.

I thought his last match was against Werbenuick, So I shall say that but copy the Kirk stevens answer for last man he beat.

His last match was against Dean Reynolds in 1982 and lost 10-7.
In 1979 Fred won his last match against Kirk, "Mr. White Suit" Stevens 13-8.

    Apologies

    I haven't done it again have I?

    Must be more careful.

    ROUND SIXTY-WHATEVER

Who was Fred Davis's last opponent in the World Championships, and also, who was the last opponent whom Fred Davis beat in the World Championship?

Both in one post (and no others), for a correct answer.

It's ok Hegeland, I believe you, thousands would'nt

I still can't believe that in a best of 19 match, the (lowest) highest break is 34.

I didn't know that!! I swear! I am always 100% honest with these things. I haven't checked this thread in ages.

Ah well, you'd have a debate on your hands there. I'd still say 'Irish' can refer to something of Northern Ireland as well as the ROI. Northern Ireland is a bit of Ireland after all, otherwise it's name would be pretty silly (even if that does make Paisley unhappy).

The dictionary says Irish means 'of Ireland', which really isn't very helpful at all.

I knew mine was wrong, this one has been before on the quiz, but completely forgot the answer.
