"There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy White
One of the answers up here agrees with what I believe to be the correct answer! Please would you all explain how you get your breaks and still lose the frame - just in case anyone can justify an answer different from mine.
Once they are up (or if not up within a reasonable timeframe - say 36 hours), I will close the round! :snooker:
If anyone else wants to come in with a different answer, you can still do so before the round is closed, as long as you explain your break.

Yes, you are right. No where in the rules its stated one have to explain ones solution.
Moreover rule 2 in the first post says the following
2) After you have guessed, .............
So even a guess is a valid answer. Its either correct or not.
And surely there is nothin mentioned about a deadline. Its supposed to be lighthearted and not under scrutiny of some academic theory behind the questions.

Rule 1 states that "1) You may post only one answer in a single message"
As there is not "one answer" in this post, I am afraid that you are disqualified from this round.

Where is the rule on disqualification? answer on the question yes, the next one was a comment. As if you are the one to come here and say who is disqualified or not. Pedantic and arrogant! I guess my answer is correct then
The primary reason is to give the opportunity for anyone who thinks that his or her answer is right to be given the point, even if it differs from the answer I have.
A secondary reason in this case is to ensure that the quiz is about thinking about the questions and hence to avoid the possibility of it being simply about guessing random numbers. Otherwise it would be Snooker's Biggest Guess :snooker:

Yes, dear o dear you are so right! I ask myself who is the 12 year old here. Give the lad his answer. Pathetic. And obvous DG makes his own rules where the rest of the flock have to obey to. WEll, up y...........
yes, exactly. i dont know why it has to get so serious now.
Not being serious. Although I'm not the one who brought up the term "farcical" about a quiz.
I'm afraid that neither crucible77 nor PaulTheSoave's guesses were right. Sorry.
