  • Well that was a bit of fun! I'll cancel this question and give what I think is the answer, which is 51:

    Starting with 7 Reds: 1
    7 Reds

    Starting with 5 Reds: 1
    5 Reds-Yellow

    Starting with 4 Reds: 2
    4 Reds-Green
    4 Reds-Yellow-Red

    Starting with 3 Reds: 4
    3 Reds-Brown
    3 Reds-Green-Red
    3 Reds-Yellow-2 Reds
    3 Reds-Yellow-Yellow

    Starting with 2 Reds: 6
    2 Reds-Blue
    2 Reds-Brown-Red
    2 Reds-Green-2 Reds
    2 Reds-Green-Yellow
    2 Reds-Yellow-3 Reds
    2 Reds-Yellow-Red-Yellow

    Starting with Red: 10
    Red-Pink
    Red-Blue-Red
    Red-Brown-2 Reds
    Red-Brown-Yellow *
    Red-Green-3 Reds
    Red-Green-Red-Yellow
    Red-Yellow-4 Reds
    Red-Yellow-2 Reds-Yellow
    Red-Yellow-Red-Green
    Red-Yellow-Red-Yellow-Red

That’s 24 methods, each of which could start with one Red as a free ball – EXCEPT the one marked * – so that’s 47.

    Then.......

    Starting with colours: 4
    Free-ball Yellow-real Yellow-Green
    Green-Brown
Free-ball Green (where real Green is also potted)-Brown
    Black

    So the total is 51.

    ROUND FORTY-FOUR

    • cheeky, cheeky... well done
I forgot nearly all the color options and would have never gotten some of your last ones.
But we did come close, didn't we

How about doing an easy fun round, like name 2 songtitles or group/singer names each that contain each of the snooker colors. (Names have to be backed up by references, where unknown). Example, if there was a purple ball- purple haze.

            • Congratulations Robert602. I think, even I can place most of the names. Actually I heard 'Yellow' (great song) this morning on the radio and got the idea for a question. It was a bit easy, but we always have Statman to raise the level!

So here is the scoreboard after Round 45:

              • ROUND FORTY-SIX

I know we've had this before, but...

What is the highest break that can be made three times in one frame of snooker?

Re-rack does not count, because points scored before a re-rack are not carried over.

I don't think a break of Shokat Ali can be made three times in a frame mrsnooker.

Surely after two breaks of 56 the opponent would concede therefore not allowing the third 56 to be made?
