    ROUND FIFTY TWO?

    Comment

    • ROUND FIFTY-TWO

What is the highest second-highest break of a player in a Crucible match?

That is to say, if Mike Hallett hade made 137 and 136 in the same match, the 136 would count, whereas if Ronnie O'Sullivan had made 147 and 133, the 133 would count, and Hallett's would be a higher answer than O'Sullivan.

(If a player made the same break twice in one match it would of course count as the highest and also the second highest.)

      • No idea. I'll open with a guess. 135?

              • No correct guesses. It is in the 130s.

For an answer to be correct I want the figure AND the player.

                      • Just to let you know that I have identified 13 instances of a player making two breaks of at least 130 in the same match! One is higherthan all the others – there is no tie for first place.
