          Well done that man.

See how simple it was. The anomaly I spoke of was exactly how to factor in Terry's ranking. I decided just to make it zero as well, he didnt have one.

ANyone who finds joy in updating scoreoards can do so. I will wait for the next question.

            • Ok - pretty easy question from me then:

I'm thinking of a player. He lost ALL his opening matches in the 1998/1999 season.

Once you think you know the name of the player...

Divide the date of birth (e.g. 1974) by the highest ever ranking (e.g. 21) and then times the outcome by this person's highest ever professional break (e.g. 145).
Then divide the answer by the amount of letters in the name of the person who knocked him out of the 1995/1996 Worlds.
Finally, times this number by the difference in frame score when he was knocked out of the 1998/1999 China Cup.

I hope your answer matches mine

              • 1968 / 9 x 141 / 15 x 5 = 10277.333333?

                • actually I think maybe the real figures are 1960 / 9 x 147 / 15 x 5 = 10671.1111111

I promise not to guess again until this one has been checked. Post 1131 is just plain wrongness personified though.

                  • How about 1962/2x147/5x2=57682.8
                    or 1962/2x147/10x2=57682.8=28841.4

                      • Chasmmi -- I THINK your second answer is right, but I don't have my laptop with me at the moment, which has the answer (I forgot who the player even was)

Can we hold play for 24 hours, OR, if the board want, grant chasmmi a provisional point, which I will verify in 24 hours?

It's not really personified though, is it?

                              • Hmm, I think chasmmi's thinking of Alain Robidoux in that second attempt, but according to snooker.org he won three matches in 98/99, two in the Welsh and one in Thailand. He didn't win a match in 97/98 though, a typo maybe?

I actually can't find anyone who lost all of their openers in 98/99, although I haven't dug deep into the qualifying rounds yet.

And yeah, congrats on 500 Obli.
