      • Congratulations Davis Greatest.

The 9 frames Hendry won at the Crucible 2006 propelled his total of frames won in the World Championships – including qualifiers – from 993 to 1002.

In fact, no. Follow this link http://www.thesnookerforum.com/forumdisplay-f_141.html and click on 'most frames won'.

In fact the earliest Hendry could have the outright record would be 2020, and only then if he wins thirteen of those and reaches the semi-final of the other!

Unless they change the duration of the matches, of course.

Still, think Fred Davis' record is safe for a while yet.

              • Blimey, never realised he was so far ahead
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                • ROUND ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY

Looking at Crucible matches, come up with as many different pairings as you can, where every player's surname begins with a different letter of the alphabet.

So, if you were to cite the 2006 final, Dott v. Ebdon, you could not then use any other player whose surname begins with either D or E. For each match, you must state the year in which it took place.

Most by 2:22p.m. UK time, as displayed on TSF, will win. In the case of a tie, preference will be given to the answer which involves the most first-name initials.

Remember, the matches must have actually occurred.

                  • I would like to make a special mention for Kellie-text, who has an excellent rate of return on posts in this thread.

She has two points on the scoreboard, and has only posted twice on this thread!
