        ROUND ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THREE

Which players last contested a match in a ranking tournament on February 29? (I am looking for four players, as there were two matches on that evening.)

You can have ¼ point for that! One out of four.

              • ROUND ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THREE

I am cancelling that round as Cyril's ¼ point is insufficient, I feel.

                Let's try this one.

I am thinking of a particular circumstance in which the referee might alter the position of a ball/balls that are in play (i.e. not including when a ball has entered a pocket/landed on the floor).

One obvious example is when a Miss is called, the referee of course replaced the balls to their position before the shot.

But which circumstance am I thinking of?

                • Perhaps if he finds he has put the wrong ball on a spot? E.g. put a red on the brown spot and the brown is still in the pocket?

(I assume you are excluding the case where a ball has dropped into a pocket, having been resting on the edge for a while, without being knocked?)
"If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.

                    I'd say a re-rack

                    • ...replacing a colour away from it's own spot? (no, that would have been in the pocket first, wouldn't it?)

                      • No, it is none of the above. It is quite obscure!

                        • Mine could have been right though... no pot involved.

Is it if the cloth is damaged under where a ball comes to rest? The ball will be removed, the cloth repaired and the ball replaced....
