      • While we're waiting for an answer to this question, I've got another one. I want to know what the following dates have in common - specifically:

        25th February
        22nd April
        12th November
        17th November
        22nd November

        • They're all dates on which there have been made a maximum twice

              ROUND ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-TWO

"Now that you've got it out of your systems let's have respect for both players. This is the final frame – no shouting at all please – Stephen Hendry to break."

Siad by whom, at what match?

              • I'll go for John Williams in the final of the 1994 World Championships between Stephen Hendry and Jimmy White

                • Have we seen this question before?

I think you could be right rambon.

I take a stab at the 1990 UK when Hendry had just made a remarkable clearance to go 15-15 against Davis.

Who the hell referee'd that game???

Jack Karnehm: "Tough shot"... "Tough shot, my word a wonderful shot!"

Oh hell, I'll say Len Ganley!

Not to either part of the question?

I'll go for Stephen hendry vs Peter Ebdon in the 2002 Final and I'll say Alan Chamberlain?

                      • Indeed, neither the correct referee nor the correct match yet.

And that is still the case.

                        • I'll go for the '89 Irish Masters final, John Street I think.

                          • Is the '97 Masters any nearer [SD v RO'S]? Mr Street was in charge.

                            • Could it have possibly been the '98 Masters final Hendry losing 9-10 to Williams, referee being Jan Verhaas???

                              • Still no fully correct answer. The correct referee's name has been mentioned, but that is all.
