  • How Many Reds...

How many red balls were potted (legally or not) in the 1985 World Championship Final?

(the winner gets a JOHN VIRGO doll, without batteries, as that would just be cruel to include batteries)

    answer : 525 reds

If I am right Semih - i will have to decline your kind offer of the gift ;-)

If you just post a picture of the thing that would be more than enough.

I'll guess, perhaps, 520. If I am right, I would like to request that you send my prize to dannyd0g.

Allow me to re-post then, without editing. 520

And really, I insist, even if I am right, dannyd0g was so close he deserves the prize.

If 520 is wrong, my next guess, on behalf of dannyd0g, will be 521.

My next guess is 523. If I'm right, please post the doll to dannd0g and, if you can stretch to the batteries, send them to Obligation.

No i just went by the maths of there being the total of 35 frames played with 15 reds per frame.

                          Equals total of 525.

However I forgot to account for those frames in which the opponent may have conceded with reds still left on the table.

Oh well I guess I wont be able to receive the prize after all. But after a course of therapy I will be able to get over this.
