half century-highest amount reds used

after watching snooker yesterday i wondered if anyone out there knows the higest amount of reds used in a televised tournament to score a 50 break
i am not testing you because i do not know the answer

Yes, the answer is 50/3 which is 16.6r. So, all 15 red could be used, so long as you take yellows with each. Which, I dunno if it has happand, but it could.

I recall someone in this year's World Championship who managed to take about seven reds with lots of baulk colours for a break of 30-ish. Sketchy I know, and I can't for the life of me think who it was. I will look back at my little notebook and see if I highlighted it (I think I didn't).

I remember quite a few reds ended up on the baulk side. And I was present at the match sitting near the baulk side on row H. I am 75 % certain it was Selby against Murphy. Selby making the break.
