Both look set for a top 16 berth next year. either are more than capable of performing at wembley too.

if your gonna invite davis on the basis of popularity you may as well invite hurricane higgins instead, wouldnt that draw in the crowds!

pesonally i think the wsba should stick to their guns, give the wildcard to David Gray and insist he sticks to form and plays the whole tournament in his underpants.
I agree it should be Wenbo or Waldo, but I think Wenbo has the edge.

Given the way Ken Doherty has started this season and his previous record I think they´ll go with Doherty.

Jimmy White just asked for it.

In the post-match interview after he won world series in Prague, beating Dott in final and Higgins in semi-final. Added he won a tournament in Bangkok recently this year. And ended his plea with a sweet 'please'
Could this way of getting attention work?

I guess I woudn't mind... and both Higgins and Dott did not seemed puzzled by White's form. And I was pleasantly surprised by the way White is playing, if there's a pot available, he goes for it (and pots ). I am following snooker for not long and almost haven't seen him playing before, but I am not sorry I switched tv on, although after how it looked like in Prague yesterday I wasn't sure I was interested.

Yes, he was also the runner-up in the Paul Hunter Classic and won the Super Six World Grand Prix. To win two events and be a runner-up in another ironically makes him the player of the season so far. Maybe Jimmy is more focused on these peripheral events because his ranking career is all but over or he's just hit a rich vein of form, but either way he would be a popular choice, he'd bring in the crowds and you can even justify that he has earned it on merit.

He was also runner-up in the previous World Series event. Four finals is impressive especially if other pro players are competing as well.
