I agree with Noel. There was a time when a draw of this calibre so early would have disappointed me, but I'm all about the matches rather than the tournaments these days since I rarely get to see a tournament all the way through. We're guaranteed a thriller and no matter who wins we will probably get a pretty entertaining quarter final too. It's the Chinese fans I feel sorry for - Fu has got Ebdon and Ding has got Selby so I guess there will be a few Chinese fans pulling all-nighters...

Not been at all convinced with Selby so far this season, but he's got to have a good tournament sooner or later i suppose..

He better buck up his ideas or he won't even be at Wembley next season! I don't think he's world champion material but he's certainly top 16 material so hopefully he can kick off his season at the UK.

In theory the UK should suit Selby down to the ground with the longer matches, and with him having done very little this season i'm sure his followers will expect a bold show from him..
