Don't know about anybody else but I feel like a weight may have been lifted off the back of snooker and the future although uncertain can only be better.
You never really learn to swear until you miss an easy shot halfway through a break.:snooker:

If the voting was 32 for to 24 against and 4 0f the votes were board members for, were were the other 22 players who didn,t vote. After all the disent this season about the lack of earning under the present board I am susprised that there wasn't a 100% turn out.

It's change and that's what snooker needed. We will wait and see if it's good for snooker but I'm feeling far more optimistic about the future than I was yesterday.

It's a GREAT RESULT! It's what the majority of fans wanted and what the game desperatly needs..

                    Is Barry Hearn in reckoning?

The slight miscalculation in all of this is of course that Hearn would have to be co-opted as the board has now been reduced effectively to two members.

Can't see them making Barry their first choice. I'd say more likely to be someone from IMG ...

I would love to see Barry Hearn become the chairman,He is the guy we can count on in bringing more sponsorships and help in globalisation of the game.

How long roughly until the board is in place?

Also will this affect the 'possible' new ranking event that was 'apparently' being held in February/March?
