  • Ssb - eight wildcards for china open

    The Sanyuan Foods China Open will feature eight invited wildcards alongside the top 16 and 16 qualifiers heading to Beijing next month.

    Six Chinese players, a Thai and an Indian will take on the eight lowest ranked qualifiers in the wildcard round.

    The Chinese players are Tian Pengfei, Yu Delu, Tang Jun, Lu Chenwei, Li Yan and Shi Shuamgyang.

    Supoj Saenla will represent Thailand and Manan Chandra plays for India.

    The tournament gets underway on March 29 with Peter Ebdon defending his title.

        I know thisis a Chinese tournament and all that, but what are they going to do for the tournament rather than add home interest?

            He can get on it. He has been on in the past. He didn't survive very long though.

                Saenla was on the tour in 08/09, Yu Delu, Li Yan and Tang Jun have been wildcards before, didn't the latter beat Trump last year?

                  They can always spring a surprise!
                  Never heard about Pengfei untill last tournament
                  I know Ya Delu, Tan Jun but not sure they got big success
                  and of course Supoj Saenla! and if you dont know those players that doesnt mean they can play well

                              In fact cant say he improved so much...good performances in leagues but that was last year too
