To be honest I agree with you, I've suspected match fixing, little agreements, mutual back scratching etc on numerous occasions. I hate to say it but I was surprised at some shot selections by Selby against Ding in the recent China open, and we all know how good it is for the game if Ding wins that tournament.

It's not that I think Higgins is innocent, it's just the way it's been done by NoTW, the timing (eve of the world final). If they really gave a damn about the sport and thought this would be damaging why bring it out on the eve of the big day? Was it a coincidence? I think not. This kind of opportunism is hard to respect.

The cruelty is weren't John beaten by Steve, all this didn't happen during the WC and wasn't published during the final. But surely it would have come out later on. With Mooneys pre meetings in Edinburgh that was only a question of time.
