I wonder if the WPBSA have been rather clever in dropping the charges.
I know this was not a criminal case, but if they had charged him with fixing, knowing there was probably insufficient evidence, then presumably he could not be re-charged.
But by dropping the charges last week, there would be nothing to stop them reinstating the charges should further evidence come to light.
An unlikely occurrence I should think, but I guess the door is still a timy bit open.
