does not say much about other players does it.
if stephen had 24 years playing like Barry Pinches people would be applauding him for being this high.

Barry turned pro at the same time as James Wattanna in 1988. They were evenly matched on the pro circuit apparently but Wattana shot to 3rd in the rankings while Barry struggled to adapt. However, 22 years later I think he's starting to get the hang of itHighest Break

Wattana won the World Amateur and Barry won the English Amateur in 1988! So, it would be Pro for the 1989 season. I knew what I meant!Highest Break

Some, like Mr P's hero (sorry, don't have a vomit smiley) get accustomed quickly but if you asked privately they would ALL tell you they do not like short format games. As for the ranking system, well it will need a season or two before everyone accepts it. It does not help when the WSA put up an "Official" list before they were supposed to. It is confusing the hell out of both players and fans.

He can tell you whatever he likes Thinsy. He can also put whatever spin on it he likes because apart from Ronnie, who I know has come out in favour of short formats the rest have been more diplomatic. THEY DO NOT LIKE THEM. That's not saying they won't be trying, of course they will but where is the enjoyment of a match that can be over and done with before your ice melts in your glass."I tried to be patient, but it took too long"
