Then, I'm afraid he should call it the time and quit the sport.
Winning is what matters to him the most, and he will not be the golden boy he used to be again, regardless of how strictly he practises.
I wish he enjoyed the latter stages of his career, like Steve Davis did, though.
That's a more professional approach, in my humble opinion.

But who knows? He may find some rythm out of nowhere to win an event and get some self-confidence, something he's lacking, unbelievably for a player with such a career.
        All the way Mark J!!

Haha, yes... I think we sidetracked from the original subject earlier

          Back to the subject:

Hendry - Good winner. Bad loser. Awesome player.
          Highest Break
          Practice: 136 (2005)
          Match: 134 (2006)
          In 2011: 94
          Centuries made: 50+

all he needs to find a spark is a win but doubt that will come so yes go now stephen.

Well getting back to his comments and imo his post match interview today he did not sound like he was being unreasonable nor did it sound like sour grapes.
He just thinks it would be better if you could keep your top 16 place for the season you gain it. Again not unreasonable.

The keyword here is "post-match", lol.

He was delighted so of course he'd be reasonable. I'm not having a go at him but I seriously wonder if his interview would have still been reasonable had he lost that match!!?

Wild, he kind of acknowledged it himself when he said that it doesn't matter what ranking system is in place, so long as you win matches!

Well that argument would make sense had he changed his mind after the match but he did not

He held his tongue some i think as he just has to accept it

As for winning it that would be a right smack in the mouth for a lot of people
but they could just fall back on the fact that anybody could win this
