People are talking about some break-off shots here. Or some absurd rule changes.. Hearn is taking action because of the attitude some players are showing towards PTC. That's the point not how a break-off shot should or shouldn't be played.

you cant be tough for the hell of it without evidence.
however if a player doesent turn up to his job it says W/O on the draw sheet = Strong Evidence.
Where does he get that complicated jargon like "how shall I swallow" which is a term used apparently for money laundering?
He seemed pretty relaxed to me from his body language.

Well I knew the word "swallow" in the context of money-launderiing and I've never been in any remotely comparable situation t Higgins - it's hardly damning evidence, especially as we've established the NOTW video was riddled with edits, overdubs, inaccurate captions etc. A Scotland Yard detective and a leading QC have said he was not guilty - that's good enough for me.

And even if he is the type of guy that gets intimidated by things most people don’t, like plastic flowers or something, that intimidation is no where visible in that video.
What is very visible is a guy who was supposedly intimidated thinking about ways to receive the money he would get for fixing the result of snooker matches.
Doesn’t add up, does it?2008-09 Prediction Champion

You are being unfair here, and your personal insults say more about you than me.
I didn’t mess up the thread or “every other thread”, for that matter. That is your extremely exaggerated accusation that I reject. I was simply replying to someone who had already mentioned the subject here.
Obviously, there are still other people here who still want to talk about it, and unless TSF is no longer a place where people interested in snooker can share their thoughts with each other, I don’t see what’s wrong with that.
If you’re not interested in the subject, that’s fine by me, but you have no right to try to silence others who want to talk about it. Is it boring for you? Find another thread that interests you more. There’s plenty out there, and I can assure you won’t find my “logical conclusions” in 99.99% of them.
Every stunt O’Sullivan made keeps getting regurgitated many, many years after, and comparatively insignificant things like Murphy and the chalk situation also keep coming up every time.
Do you really think that something as big and fresh as this bribe scandal is just going to disappear from peoples minds like that, when so much of it hasn’t been clarified properly? Think again.2008-09 Prediction Champion

If you want to talk about it, fine. Do it in a thread which is about the "Higgins case".

I had mentioned the Higgins incident to highlight a point that Barry wants to give out this image of disciplinarian when in my opinion, he gave John a slap in the wrist. There is no need for this thread to degenerate now.
And again I repeat, I am a Hearn supporter and feel that these are exiting times. I even like Power Snooker, and ardently look forward to the Snooker shootout in January, I love change, but the John incident is, in my opinion, a blot on his copybook.
