Impossible call. I think the ref did the right thing to study the slowmos and decide in doubt for the striker. This was not the cause for Mark JW's loss though. I think he will agree after a good night's sleep, that he still had his fair share of chances after that spectacular incident, to beginn with the rather easy red left to him right away as the foul & mess was reviewed.
I recall we had a thread about the usefullness of the hawk-eye some years ago. Well, here we go...Ten reds and not a colour...
