My build is scheduled to start in 4 weeks, table should be set up October 5th, also a Riley Aristocrat, Steel block, supposedly the 1994 World Championship final table.
Is there any proof of this table ,it’s very rare to get a table from the crucible final ,most are used again or offered to the winner or other players from that event first .I would check serial numbers of that table with BCE/Riley .not that it matters as long as the table is good and you haven’t spent more on a table than you should have .3 different people got the 1983 table that Cliff Thorburn made the crucibles first 147

Well people keep telling me that Riley won't bother checking the serial numbers if i asked so i didn't bother.
I know this table was bought by Jimmy Long in mid nineties and it was in his club here in belgium until he sold it and i now bought it from the guy that bought it back then.

I will see how it plays when I get the table set up but for future reference how much do they cost?

The building is 7m x 5m which is slightly over 30m2 internal size.

Cool! Very similar to mine then, which will be 7 x 5,5.
Looking forward to it being built in 4-5 weeks.

That should give you enough room if it’s internal size .Builds never look very big at this stage .

Looks like a good base to work from there!

Is it going to be blockwork and rendered build? Did any mesh go into the slab?

They used this stuff and apparently some sort of reinforcement is added to the mix.💪
The base has been down for some time now and it's very solid!

No Steve, it's timber framed as you can now see above 😉

Is that a mock-up of the table I see set out on floor!

Not much change from last picture here just a couple of roof timbers fitted and a few other bits and pieces done.

Base is plenty strong enough Steve as we made sure we tested it properly! 🤣🤣
