Time consuming tasks and we only have limited time to work on it so slow progress.
Now we are finishing off the drywall joints and screwholes.

Hope we get to putting primer and paint on in the next weeks.

What way is the table going in? Are the lights not the wrong way round?

Table was scheduled for last wednesday but postponed until November 2nd as we didn't think we'd finish the ceiling plasterboards in time.
Anyway plenty needs to be done first, DIY jobs with a mate, the joints and screwholes need a second and possibly third go, primer on walls, 2 coats of paint, that alone is 1 + 1/2 weeks at least.

Table should of course be fit in the length of the building, Black spot at the door end.
The lights are usually set up in the length when you have 2 but since i have 3 i opted to have them setup in the width of the table, it was set up like that where the table was when i bought it and that was a good way to do it.

Been a while, i have been very busy and it is all going very slowly but getting there.

Walls and ceilings are painted (primer and 2 paint layers), carpet and airco/heating is for next week, we have some finishing up to do after like put more pictures up, plints and we want to make the door opening nicer.

          Table setup Nov 2nd

Aye sorry Delphi didn't notice you had three lights up, quite a good idea.

Progress as it is now, nearly there, move stuff in there after placing plints at the wall bottoms.

Is that down pipe the only one Delphi? If that was me and it wasn't going into a drain, I would dig a French drain. That's a trench filled with gravel, it will really help as the size of the roof there will be a lot of water going into the ground at that one point and it's not that much work, you can do it by hand easy enough with a bit of elbow grease. Don't know what others think, maybe Steve will know if it's not necessary.

The table setup was postponed last week due to cloth shortages, it is planned for TODAY!

Well the hard and difficult work is done, table is centered and levelled, slates are on, heating is under the table and works, cushions are re-clothed so put main cloth on, draw the lines and the cushions and the rest hooks and that's it.

I've just noticed a small technical error in the drawing - there's no door. My advice, therefore, is to build a small serving hatch so your wife can feed you and empty the porta-potty. A bunk bed would help or you could sleep under the table. Jolly good start though.

Actually, Alan, I have a bed in my snooker room. The big sofa actually converts to a double bed .Interestingly (well probably not) it would need to be dismantled to remove it from the room as it won't go through the door.
