carry a 3/4 cue on a motorbike

Just a question I have an R1 (Yamaha sport motorbike for those who don't know) and I'd love to be able to carry my 3/4 case on it somehow. Has anyone been successful in carry a snooker cue on a bike? I'm thinking of some kind of invention on wearing some kind of strap system to the body and legs but one that's not restrictive. Just an idea because through he summer I'd like to be able to use my bike to go to play snooker.

I don't think you want it strapped to yourself in any way, just in case you need to hop off sharpish, it could cause a nasty injury. How about some kind of holster system attached to frame of the bike, like a shotgun type thing but for a cue

ronnie had a centre split one in a hard case on his back - not sure that trick would work for a 3/4 though!

Buy on of those hard circular tube cases [ which are leather bound ] that are used by 9 ball pool players , they look like mini totem poll's the ones i have seen , but they do fit 3 quarter cues . In fact you can fit a couple in there .

I have no idea where you obtain them from but id guess the USA or the far east .


OR YOU COULD ALLWAY'S USE A THE LONG DRAINPIPE ONES, AND PLAY JOUSTING WITH ON COMING PEDESTRIANS !!!!

Do not know about too much in the way of ease of fitting but there are quite a few gun racks and clamps for holding items that fit to motorcycles on different sites around the net maybe one of these could be modified to clamp a hardcase to the side of the bike similar to a horse style rifle holster
Good luck in finding something that will serve pupse so to speak and congrats on the R1, my missus will not let me have one lol

I used to put my cue and case in a hockey-stick bag and sling it over my shoulder.

I used to work for a company call the handy squad and they supplied a honda 125 s-wing. We used to carry a drapper fold-up five rung steps ladder on the side, in order to do this they had welded a bracket to the passenger foot rest and a bracket with a clasp on the top box. This set up just happened to be perfect for carrying my cue case. I no longer work for the company but own my own honda s wing but have no plans to copy it.

I have a faux leather covered hard tube type case by Riley with a shoulder strap that I use for carrying my 3/4 jointed cue around on my motorbike. There is a similar one for sale on ebay.
