  • Bai Yulu's 127 at 2023 Women's Worlds

Record 127 high break from Bai Yulu in the 2023 Women's Worlds. Previous record 125 from now Pool legend Kelly Fisher in 2003. Some great recovery shots, should have been a 140... https://youtu.be/a8FAFusMNvM

It's a lovely break, she has such great technique it's difficult to imagine her missing. Nice and compact and so solid on the shot no moving parts other than the elbow hinge. Brilliant.

I read an article on her this morning, she could be the break through lady player. Won lots of age group comps then the covid restrictions in China halted her progress but she's back now.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

The prize money for the winner is 6k. Too low IMO. But the standard has to improve for the prize money to improve, I reckon.

Not just the standard of play but the numbers of watchers, a bigger audience means potential customers for any future sponsor

Does anyone know what tables they are using? I see there is a Niche Table advert on the screen but I can't find anything about them. Cushions look like composite material.

Oh ok. Maybe they mentioned it wrong in that link and I passed that on . They have it streamed on their official fb page. It must be put up on other mediums too as you said.

Breaks-wise Bai was the tournament's most consistent player but looks like she couldn't bring it home, beaten 6-3 in the final by Siripaporn https://snookerscores.net/tournament...ionship/breaks

Only 12 breaks over fifty in the whole tournament and Bai had nearly half of those(5out of the 12).
