WOMEN snooker stars from round the world return to Hampshire on Saturday.
Fareham Snooker Club, which hosted the Connie Gough National Championship in March last year, will stage the Southern Classic.
Organisers were delighted to add Hong Kong quartet Ng On Yee, Jaique Ip Wan In, So Man Yan and Yu Ching Ching to a truly international line-up for the fourth leg of the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association tour.
Also in the 19-strong star-studded cast are Iranian Anna Sanei and German Natascha Niermann.
But it’s two English girls who are the pre-tournament favourites.
World number one Maria Catalano, from Dudley, West Midlands, will be bidding for her third title of the season and Portsmouth’s Emma Bonney, ranked third, will be hoping to improve on her runners-up trophy the last time the WLBSA circuit played in Fareham.
Missing her second event of the season is seven-time world champion Reanne Evans, who is suffering from pleurisy.
The youngest player in the draw, which takes place at 10am, is the phenomenal Woking schoolgirl Jasmine Bolsover, who celebrated her 12th birthday last month.
Last season’s Southern Classic in Swindon was won by Evans, who beat Catalano 3-0 in the final.
